  • Mailing to Universities and Others

September 2020

  • Screening /Interviewing by Consultants
  • Credential Verification and Preliminary Reference Checking

Early October 2020

  • Meeting of Board and Consultant to Select Semifinalists
  • Set Interview Dates/Procedures

November 2020

  • Background check: Financial, Criminal, Educational all Finalists
  • Committee Finalist Interviews
  • Second Interviews by Board
  • Selection of Final Candidate

December 2020

  • Site Visit
  • Contract Negotiation Finalized

December 2020

  • Agreement Signed with New Superintendent
  • Board Appoints Superintendent effective on or about January 1st.
