CHS Social Studies Teacher Attends Annual Lincoln Forum

Congratulations to Carmel High School Social Studies teacher Robert Buccheri who was chosen to attend the 26th Annual Lincoln Forum last month as a teacher scholarship recipient.  

Buccheri was one of three teachers selected from across the nation to attend the forum which works to enhance the understanding and preserve the memory of Abraham Lincoln through lectures, panel discussions, breakout groups and other activities.

"It was quite an honor to be selected," said Buccheri. "Even though I've been studying and teaching about Abraham Lincoln for over 25 years, I learned a great deal more by attending lectures and meeting the foremost authors on the subject of the Civil War. I have already added the knowledge I gained from the symposium to my lessons for my students!"
