High School Students Earn Top Marks in Business Education
Career & Technical Education (CTE) students at Carmel High School are leading the state with their business knowledge.
Earlier this month, 30 CHS students sat for the national exam in Business Management in order to earn a CTE-certified endorsement for their high school diploma. The New York State-certified program allows students to receive a prestigious endorsement on their diploma after meeting specific business education course/sequence requirements and a passing score on the national exam.
The CTE Department is proud to announce that all 30 students successfully passed the national exam, which requires a minimum of 73% for a passing grade.
The students are also now leading the state with their scores with the average school exam score for Carmel High School at 83%. The average exam score for the state is 82%.
Congratulations to our business-minded students for a job well done!
