2022 George Fischer Middle School Virtual Science Fair

This year,  George Fischer Middle School hosted its first-ever Virtual Science Fair to highlight exemplary original student science projects and the submissions were extraordinary.

Students were able to work independently or as part of a group to conduct independent research, create a poster, and submit a video presentation on a topic of their choosing in the areas of Biology, Earth and Space, Physical Science, Technology and Mathematics. Projects were reviewed by a panel of volunteer judges for creative ability, scientific thought, thoroughness and clarity, and skill.

The virtual fair was modeled after this year's virtual Tri-County Science & Technology Fair, to allow our students to have submissions prepared for both competitions. All first-place winners in the George Fischer Middle School fair had the opportunity to enter the Tri-County Science & Technology Fair. Tri-County winners will be announced in late-April.
