Creative Art Collages Honor Black History Month
Seventh-grade students at George Fischer Middle School honored Black History Month through creativity in art class. Students were asked to research individuals who have had a positive impact on black history in our country. Then they created a collage in the silhouette of the person they selected using a variety of photos of the person doing impactful things or having impactful moments in history.
The collages exemplify the importance of these individuals to black history and the importance of honoring that history throughout the month of February.
