Board of Education Community Forum

In the theme of connecting with each other, the Carmel Central School District Board of Education hosted a Community Forum in October 2022 to hear directly from parents and community members.

Attendees were invited to rotate between five different tables, each related to a specific topic that the Board of Education was seeking feedback on. The table topics included:

  • Safety & Security
  • Goal-setting, Alignment & Strategic Planning
  • Teaching, Learning, Equity & Wellbeing
  • Leadership & Human Resources
  • Budget Development, Sustainability, Transparency & Accountability
