Dear Carmel Central School District Community,

Homecoming is a special opportunity for our entire Carmel community to come together in celebration of the pride, tradition, talent, and spirit that connect our schools and neighborhoods. We warmly invite students, families, alumni, staff members, and community residents to join us for our Homecoming activities on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19.

Homecoming weekend is far more than a series of events. It is a time for us to celebrate what it means to be part of the Carmel Central School District. It brings generations of community members together, recognizes the hard work and accomplishments of our students, and reminds our children that they are supported by a community that values their growth, participation, leadership, and school pride.

For our students, seeing families, neighbors, alumni, and staff members gathered in support is meaningful. Whether they are participating in the parade, performing with a school group, being recognized as a senior, competing on the athletic field, or cheering from the stands, our children benefit from knowing that their community is present, engaged, and proud of them. These shared experiences help strengthen students’ sense of belonging and create memories that will remain with them long after their school years.

We hope you will join us for one or more of the following activities:

Friday, September 18

Homecoming Bonfire

  • 6:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.
  • George Fischer Middle School
  • Carmel High School Students will need to bring their Student ID cards to attend the Bonfire Event
  • Students in elementary and middle school are warmly welcome to attend Homecoming activities; however, they must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the event.

Saturday, September 19

  • Route 52 and Fair Street

  • 11:15 a.m.

Your attendance, whether at the bonfire, along the parade route, during senior recognitions, or in the stands for the football game, will contribute to a wonderful weekend of connection and celebration.

Thank you for the continued care, encouragement, and commitment you show to our students and schools. We look forward to seeing the Carmel community come together as we celebrate our students, honor our traditions, and demonstrate the pride that makes our district so special.
